- Читав прилог који је скупљан испред поменутог храма за санацију куће поклањам за потребе Српске православне цркве која се са верним народом, бори за очување својих светиња у Црној Гори. То што сте ви приложили као помоћ мени у жељи да обновим запаљени дом, ја поклањам нашом мајци цркви, јер она је кућа свих нас. Чиним то у нади да ће се изборити са највећом пошасти која ју је снашла у својој дугој историји.
Ово је казао Јукић својим Васојевићима, који су овај његов гест пропратили бурним аплаузом и скандирањем: Не дамо светиње.
